My Top 3 Baby Zy!

As young as he is, Zyrus is not so serious about formal studies. Me and his Mama Lola are both not strict in his academe. He can skip class if he weren't able to wake up on time.. he can skip tutorial session if he feels lazy... he can go straight to playing computer games after going back from school... Me and my mom believes that on top of everything, my son needs to enjoy his childhood years so no pressure on reading books or memorizing tons of formal lectures.

That's why imagine my suprise when I found out that my son got the top 3 spot for the whole class standing. With less effort, my son reach 90.06% average grade (just .64% away from the lead top 1)- so how much more if he is really focus on it? Well, it's expected anyway. I'm his mommy remember? Hahaha!

Love you Baby Zy! Mommy's very, very proud having you...

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner and Mommy Ybeth can easily feel it when the signs are near:

... when I'm already done with my son's birthday party preparations.

... when Baby Zyrus telling me that Santa Claus last year gifts are broken already.

... when Baby Zyrus starts to plan what sock to hang on the newly assembled christmas trees.

... when all my siblings started to buzz/ping me thier December wishlist.

... when my Mom slowly starting to ask me how much is her holiday monetary budget.

... when my previous office colleagues are all busy computing thier yearly incentives.

... when most of my friends sends sms asking me if I already book my sg-mnl-sg flight.

Christmas is considered as one of the most joyous and stressful occasions although out the year. Festive mood, shopping galore and smiles everywhere. Can't wait for Christmas carols right at our doorstep... Can't wait for Christmas eve dinner... Can't wait for Christmas gift-giving... Can't wait for Christmas church mass. .. I can't simply wait for Christmas!!!!

So as early as now, let Mommy Ybeth and Baby Zyrus be among the first to greet you all a merry and blessed Christmas!

Being a mom made me a certified kiddie party addict. I so love to plan my son's yearly celebration. This took me almost 4 months to organize and baby Zy is very much involve on all the major decisions pertaining to the event details. Can't wait for another grand party when he turn 7 years old. Would you believe that as early as now, he already has a theme in mind? He wants a Naruto party for November 2010. Oh well, of course I'll say yes. Everything for him... Love you very much Zy!

Blue and Silver Christmas...

I'm so excited for December. Aside from me spending the whole holiday season in Manila with my one and only son, this will also be the first time me and my man will be celebrating Christmas together - and without his consent, I decided that we will do it on blue and silver style! Why blue and silver? Nothing, just like that... (baby, borrow your line ha. hehe.)

2. something hard and round
3. something soft and sticky
4. something naughty and nice
5. something musical and loud

Can't wait for what awaits us on December babe... Looking forward to spending more occasions with you. Love you alot!

Another Nice Weekend

It's been a while since the last time I blog about my weekend escapades, so just trying to bring it back again. =)

Friday:

Had lunch with my man at Hotel Re. A relatively new hotel near Outam mrt station that serves 4-course meal for as low as S$15. They have different theme menu per day (monday - thai, tuesday - western, wednesday - nonya, thursday - italian and friday - japanese). Our food is consist of free-flowing coffe/ tea and bread, salad of the day, beef shabu-shabu soup, main course of chicken/saba fish teriyaki (chicken for baby fud and saba fish for me) and dessert. Service was warm as most of the staff were Filipinos and reservation over phone is hassle-free. Food was great and serving portion was more than enough. The restaurant chef was even accomodating in helping us choose the bread and assisted us in toasting it. Most of all, I love the dessert. Sorry I weren't able to take photo of it but it was nicely presented, a long plate of mint ice cream, fruit medley, chocolate and strawberry cake. Surely we will go back there again sometime and try thier italian set. Opps! Before I forget, we also availed the hotels 10-minutes atama & kata massan-ji. Soooooooooo relaxing.

My friend Mark, who did my recent photoshoot, came to office at around 7pm to hand me the full-copy of all my shots. Please get his photography service if you have some occasions you wanna capture perfectly on print.

Went home to change clothes then went to clarkquay and meet former guilemard housemates. We were suppose to stay at Zirca but we found it so crowded. We opted to stay at Mama Caribbean bar instead. One song that was playing non-stop caught my attention - it's was one of those "the ugly truth" movie sountrack. Love that scene where katherine and gerard dance - so sexy and so seductive. After 2 tequila sunrise and lots of chit-chat, I headed home at 12:30am.

One of my former staff in Manila asked for some help on suprising her boyfriend on thier Anniversary. Her man is now working in Singapore and this is the first time they will celebrate thier day long-distance. We planned this suprise for about 3 weeks. So after several exchange of suggestions, thier day finally came. I will make a separate detailed blog about this event, don't worry. But as of now, photo captions will do. *wink!*

suprise successful, he's now talking to her using my phone. lol!

After having pancake breakfast at a nearby Mcdonalds, I went straight home and spent quality time with my man. 11am I went Fairprice to buy my weekly groceries. I decided to purchase something and cook since I still have 3 hours free time. I prepared garlicky chicken liver/gizzard and pinoy-style sweet spagehetti.

I wish I'm with Baby Zy everytime I attend kiddie parties. I know my son will enjoy alot. But well, he's having so much fun also doing track or treat. I invested 1,000pesos worth of dracula costume and he were able to get roughly around 200pesos worth of candies. So worth it noh? Hahaha!
