After months of brainstorming with the Birthday celebrant himself, we now officially choose Disney Pixars Cars as this years party theme (it won over Naruto and Power Rangers). Whew! So planning bagins this very moment...

Booked and paid downpayment. This is the same place where Baby Zy celebrated his graduation party, we are happy with the food and service so we choose this venue again. We are expecting 100-120 guest and they gave us a newly renovated function room that can accomodate up to 150pax. Wow! talking about bigger space for stage and party side-entertainments.

I already sent Mel an email. She was the one who handled my son's Justice league Party last 2007. If her schedule permit, I want her to be my over-all Party Manager again as she did a great job the last time I avail her service. I plan to get the following services to her:

Balloon Decor - table centerpieces, ceiling chandelier, stage pillars
Personalized Party Favor - pinatas, welcome banner, stage backdrop, standees
Giveaways: take-home souvenirs, game prizes

Kaya Mau was highly recommended by a friend. As basing upon the video of my friend's son, I was convince he is indeed a good host - funny, wholesome and entertaining. I already email him and just awaiting confirmation. A party host and magician in one, his services includes the following: hosting, facilitate kids and adult games, puppet show, magic show, ventriloquisom, balloon twisting and candle-blowing ceremony.

So there goes my checklist, less than 3 months before the grand day... I want my son to be happy on his birthday. He is so excited and very much looking forward to it. I won’t fail him. His joy is my joy.

Giving up "ME" to have "YOU"

I woke up hearing heavy drops of rain making me feel very under the weather. Was it the wind and breeze that’s affecting my mood? Or is it because, as always, I’m missing you again a lot?

Past few weeks attacked us with whirlwind of emotions – a cycle weird combinations of romance, passion, grief and doubts. You hurt me, I hurt you. Both become insecure and possessive. Is it because we are too much inlove or we started to disbelieve each other already?

But thanks Baby for not giving up on me. And I’m well-convinced you never intentionally hurt me. I’m so happy we are back to normal now. I’m really determined to make this relationship work. Love and trust goes hand-in-hand. As promised, I will never ever do anything bad to lose you. Until the time you feel more secured, I’m very much willing to give up “me” to have “you” in my life… And I know it’s all worth it!

This video makes Mommy Ybeth very proud of Baby Zyrus! My son recently join an informal inter-school dancing competition where most of the contestant were 1-3 years his senior. But wait and behold, as he was able to grab the 1st runner-up prize. Isn't that amazing! Clap, clap, hooray!!!

Yes ladies and gentelmen, a 15,000 PhP rechargable battery-operated motorbike (just google for more info on kilometer per hour speed - joke!). Hehe... My mom still scolding me for buying this but what the heck. My son will be turning six years old on November and Mommy Ybeth already accepted the fact that sooner or later, our shopping bonding will be purely consists of adult dangerous toys.

An open letter for my one and only Son...

Just reposting my first ever letter I made for my son. I composed this the very first time I saw him after I woke up from my ceasarian operation. He was the most beautiful treasure I ever saw my entire life...


My dearest Zyrus Angel,

You made my life so meaningful and I thank God for each day that we're together. Bear in mind that you're the best thing that ever happen to me. No matter what happen baby, mommy will always be there for you. No words can explain how happy am I that you came into my life. I loved you the very first day I knew that you are inside my womb. Since then, my love for you grows more each and every single day. I promise to provide you the best life possible. I love you very, very much my son!

My 5th Tattoo - Yin Yang Symbol

I was 20 years old when I got my first ink done. And oh boy, tattoo pain is really addicting. That's why I end up having a total of 4. An sms last friday made me remember my fascination with this kind of art. Dong's sms: tattoo session on sunday. are you game?

Currently I have 1 tweety bird, 1 chinese character alphabet, 1 ancient chain design and 1 tribal drawing. Hmmm.... add 1 more on my back neck? why not right?! After hours of contemplating, I called my mom to ask permission and as expected, she said yes. Yehey!

After almost an hour of checking what art to put, I decided to go for a uniquely customized "yin yang" chinese symbol. As explained on the net, this sign represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. The outer circle represents "everything", while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white, and they cannot exist without each other. While "yin" would be dark, passive, downward, cold, contracting, and weak, "yang" would be bright, active, upward, hot, expanding, and strong. The shape of the yin and yang sections of the symbol, actually gives you a sense of the continual movement of these two energies, yin to yang and yang to yin, causing everything to happen: just as things expand and contract, and temperature changes from hot to cold.

So now, Mommy Ybeth just got her 5th inked! It may seems deviant and rebellious for some, but for me it is indeed an art as I put it only on location I know I can hide it if I don't feel like showing it off. Different people have different form of self-expression. I choose this, what's yours?

Happy Birthday Bro!!!!

It my brother's 28th birthday today!!!!!

Hmmm, what wishes can i say to a very close brother who stood by me during my troublesome single parenthood days? Nothing but praises of course. Zander is the coolest brother one can ever have. He is my disco dance partner, my swimming buddy and my prayer counselor.

I rememmber during our younger years we always fight on who will clean the dishes after each meals. We both hate sleeping in the afternoon. Studying on the same school was fun as we help and assist each other on anything related to academe matters.

Not only a perfect brother, he is also a sweet son to my mom and a loving uncle to his nephew zyrus. When all of us are just at home, expect too much riot and laughter around as both of us acts like a kid again pestering my mom with too much litter (hehe).

Zander used to be a seminarian, I honestly thought he will become a priest someday. But I guess God has better plans for him as he decided to marry his long-time girlfriend and now they are happily blessed with a very cute daughter.
